Bennetts Karate Dojo Event Dates 2024
Under Black Belt Testing Dates
Testing is on Fridays, from 6 - 7 pm. Testing fees are $50 per person, per test. Students should arrive from 530 - 6 pm to warm up and practice. We are usually finished by 7:30 pm.

Black Belt Quarterly Training Dates

Dojo Video Party
The dojo runs 2 video party events throughout the year. Usually one right before or right after Spring Break, and the other around Halloween or Christmas.

Richard Bennett will be coordinating a group training camp for the dojo in Okinawa, Japan from October 20 - Nov 1, 2023.

Training in Okinawa will take place at various traditional dojo locations throughout the trip. The group will also tour many iconic Okinawan Karate locations on the island. There is plenty to do and much training to be had!
Bennetts Karate Board Breaking Seminar
Bennetts Karate will be hosting a board breaking event Saturday June 11th at the Lehigh Park in Erie, CO. During the seminar we will cover how to break boards, and various options for board breaking. Uechi Ryu breaking or tameshiwari in Japanese, is used in demonstrations to show the applications and power of karate techniques.

You can bring chairs to watch and hang out in, but we will also bring a cooler of drinks and have some tables and chairs set up. Bring sunscreen!

It might be hot out, so you can wear your karate t-shirt instead of your uniform top.

Students can also bring their own boards to break - boards should be cut 10 - 12'' x 12''

Bennetts Karate August Summer Camp 2023
The summer camp is a great way for students to try out karate with us or students that are already training at the dojo. It is a also a great way for students that were gone over the summer to get back into it!

Location - Our new 5000 sf location 1010 Carbon Court Unit F in Erie, Colorado

Times - 10am - 1 pm for the 5 days of the camp. Pro-rating is available if you cannot make the entire 5 days.
