Bennetts Karate Dojo Tournament
The Bennetts Karate Dojo will be hosting a dojo tournament for students both Saturday December 10th and Sunday December 11th.
Location - 1010 Carbon Court, Unit F - Erie, CO.

Kids Karate – All Levels 4 – 6 yr olds
Jr Belt Divisions 9 am – 11 am
Kata – Single Elimination
Sparring – Double Elimination
Beginners Kata and Sparring (7 yrs – 14 yrs groups)
White belt, yellow belt, adv yellow belt, orange belt
11:30 am – 2:00 pm
Beginners Group Kata (7 yrs – 14 yrs groups)
2:00 – 3:00 pm
Sunday December 11
Intermediate Kata and Sparring (7 yrs – 14 yrs groups)
Green belt, blue belt, and purple belt divisions
9:00 am – 11:00 am

Bennetts Karate Okinawa Trips 2022
Richard Bennett will be coordinating a group training camp for the dojo in Okinawa, Japan from March 16 - 26, 2023
Senaga Yoshitsune, Kenseikai dojo (Uechi Ryu)
Itokazu Seisho, Seibukan dojo (Matayoshi Kobudo)
Okinawa Budokan and Karate Kaikan training
Training in Okinawa will take place at various traditional dojo locations throughout the trip. The group will also tour many iconic Okinawan Karate locations on the island. There is plenty to do and much training to be had!
Bennetts Karate Board Breaking Seminar
Bennetts Karate will be hosting a board breaking event Saturday June 11th at the Lehigh Park in Erie, CO. During the seminar we will cover how to break boards, and various options for board breaking. Uechi Ryu breaking or tameshiwari in Japanese, is used in demonstrations to show the applications and power of karate techniques.
Location - Lehigh Park Athletic Field in Erie.

You can bring chairs to watch and hang out in, but we will also bring a cooler of drinks and have some tables and chairs set up. Bring sunscreen!
It might be hot out, so you can wear your karate t-shirt instead of your uniform top.
Students can also bring their own boards to break - boards should be cut 10 - 12'' x 12''
