What's in the Leadership Program?

The Leadership Program is an extension of the Basic Program, so students enrolled in it are still entitled to the usual services, such as:
    3 karate classes a week
    Saturday sparring classes
    Aikido sessions
    Demo team eligibility
    Waived colored belt testing fees

Leadership Program
    Basic membership included
    Extra class time
Potential to test faster on average
New weekly leadership classes, which covers new material about teaching and extra material about weapons
Aikido, knife defense, falling, rolling, sparring, and karate history
Working toward earning an assistant instructor or full instructor certification
Title of Junior Instructor, and arm patch
    Extra responsibilities around the dojo
Ability to run classes with the sensei, or other instructors

This is a great new program developed by Sensei Richard Bennett that allows qualified students to learn how to be a karate teacher.

This also gives students leadership opportunities and extra responsibilities to the dojo.

This program also allows students the ability to try out other types of programs like weapons and Aikido that they might not be able to attend on a regular basis.

Students will also learn more detailed information and material about things that they already know.

Students can participate in a new leadership class that is geared toward students enrolled in the leadership program only.
