April Black Belt Test
Date: Sunday April 15th, 2012
Location: Bennetts Karate Dojo - 515 Briggs Street
Time: 1:00 PM
Testing Prodedure:
You will be tested on items that you learned since white belt, and items that you learned only within the last 6
months possibly. Each item has a corresponding percentage to pass, and candidates must have at least an
80% overall to pass the test. These test items are same throughout the Uechi Ryu Community.
Sanchin 25%
Rank Kata 15%
Bunkai 10%
Dan Kumite 5%
Technique Exercises 10%
Arm Rubbing/Pounding 10%
Oral Exam 5%
Free Sparring 20%
The black belt test is open to members of the dojo, as well as the testers family and friends to watch. The length of the test is determined by how many people are testing.
